Ron Mills-Pinyas is an international muralist, painter, and printmaker born in 1952 in Neosho, Missouri. He spent his early years in Germany and several US states before settling in California (1970) and then Oregon (1979). He currently resides between Spain and Oregon , with his wife María Isabel Pinyas-Mills . He holds a BA in art and philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara (1973) and an MFA from Claremont Graduate University (1976). Mills-Pinyas was a director, professor of fine arts, and mentor at Linfield University College of Art in McMinnville, OR (2019). His current work, characterized by metallic pigments, textures, and expressive colors, explores the essentials of nature, inviting reflection on the universe and creation.
